Today, we had the honor of welcoming representatives of the World Bank, led by Mr. Koji Nishida, for a constructive discussion on the implementation of our mutual projects in Uzbekistan’s power sector.

The meeting focused on the progress, challenges, and coordination needed to move our joint initiatives forward. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration in support of Uzbekistan’s energy sector modernization.

This meeting was especially meaningful as Mr. Nishida will soon be transitioning to a new role in another region. He expressed his appreciation for the strong and productive partnership with our team over the past years — a sentiment we wholeheartedly share.

We thank Mr. Nishida for his dedication and valuable contributions, and we wish him great success in his new endeavors.
