JSC “National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan” announces the recruitment of an individual procurement specialist (consultant) for the “Uzbekistan Resilient Energy Transmission Project”, which is planned to be financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and implemented during 2026–2030.

► Individual Procurement Specialist
⇒ Responsibilities:

• In accordance with Presidential Resolution PQ-51 dated 11 February 2025 “On additional measures to improve the mechanisms for preparing and implementing projects with the participation of international financial institutions and foreign government financial organizations”, prepare tender documents and coordinate them with AIIB in order to select a consulting company to develop project concepts and the Project Evaluation Document (PED);

• Prepare “Long List” and “Short List” documents within the procurement process;

• Evaluate received proposals from technical and financial perspectives and prepare final evaluation reports;

• Organize pre-contract meetings and assist in contract-related processes;

• Prepare reports to the JSC “NEGU” on all relevant processes.

► Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain Management;

• At least 3 years of successful experience performing tasks in projects financed by AIIB or other international financial institutions;

• Knowledge of procurement rules and procedures of AIIB and other IFIs;

• Experience in preparing technical specifications and tender documents;

• Ability to properly organize project-related activities.

► Additional Requirements:

• Computer literacy: Internet, email services, Windows Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint;

• Fluency in Russian and English.

► Working Conditions:

• The candidate will obey directly to the JSC NEGU;

• Salary is financed from AIIB grant funds.
