Information about the project "Construction of a 220 kV overhead network and a new 220/110/10 kV substation in order to provide uninterrupted power supply to production enterprises located in the "Mergancha" and "Saryktepa" areas of the Urgut free economic zone".
The basis for the implementation of the project: Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-139 dated September 11, 2024.
Project capacity: Within the framework of the project – construction of a 220 kV power transmission network with a length of 1.2 km and 2 autotransformer substations with a capacity of 125 MVA.
Project location: Samarkand region, Urgut district.
Total project cost: At the expense of sectoral funds.
Project implementation period: 2021–2026.
Work performed: The project institute – “Uzenergoengineering” JSC developed design documentation, and a state expertise report was obtained for the design documentation. AT-1 and AT-2 autotransformers were installed.
Brickwork was laid, slabs were installed, and metal structures were installed in the emergency management building of the energy facility, and the roof was completely covered. Sandblasting of the internal walls was completed. Installation of doors and frames was completed.
220 kV outdoor switchgear — concrete foundation supports have been installed for four sets of SF6 circuit breakers, 12 current transformers, and 16 disconnectors in the 220 kV outdoor switchgear. Foundations have been poured for two of the four sets of voltage transformers. 180 of the 192 cable ducts have been installed.
110 kV outdoor switchgear — transformers AT-1 and AT-2 at the switchboard have been connected and installed, construction and installation work is ongoing. A trench for the cable ducts has been dug, and metal formwork for the cable trays is being installed. Nine floodlight masts have been installed.
Four imported supports for the 220 kV overhead line have also been installed, and the input wires for the overhead line have been installed.
