JSC “National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan” announces the recruitment of an individual procurement specialist (consultant) for procurement for the project “Enhancing the Sustainability of the Electric Power Transmission System of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (hereinafter – AIIB) and planned to be implemented in 2026–2030.

Individual Procurement Specialist responsibilities:

• Support JSC National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan on all procurement matters within the framework of the project (procurement support);
• Conduct (organize and implement) all tender processes in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PR-51 dated February 11, 2025, “On Additional Measures to Improve the Mechanisms for the Preparation and Implementation of Projects with the Participation of International Financial Institutions and Foreign Government Financial Organizations,” as well as AIIB rules and principles;
• Evaluate the received proposals technically and economically and prepare final evaluation reports;
• Organize pre-contract meetings and assist in the implementation of contractual works;

Requirements for Candidates:

• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain Management;
• At least 5 years of general work experience;
• Successful experience in performing tasks and works on similar projects with AIIB and other international financial institutions (at least 3 years);
• Relevant knowledge and skills regarding AIIB and other international financial institutions’ procurement rules and guidelines;
• Availability of specific experience and practice in energy system projects;
• Ability to properly organize project-related activities;
• Experience working with contracts organized under FIDIC conditions will be an additional advantage.

Additional Requirements:

• Computer literacy: Internet, Email, Windows Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint.
• Fluency in Russian and English.

Working Conditions:

• The candidate reports directly to the joint-stock company;
• Salary is financed from AIIB grant funds.

The deadline for accepting proposals submitted by candidates – 10 calendar days. (from 6^th March until 16^th March)
